About Us

Welcome to the Iron Wheel Guest Ranch

You have made it to Montana!  Take a deep breath and feel the fresh mountain air while sipping on a piping hot cup of coffee and enjoy a Montana mountain sunrise and contemplate the day.  We offer a scenic, quiet setting where you can relax and enjoy your stay, but if you’re more of a mover and shaker there are a lot of different things to do including fishing and floating. There are hiking trails nearby and we are at the base of the Highland Mountain Range. You can schedule a trail ride, float trip, or fishing trip for your visit if you choose.

Starting in summer 2019 we will be offering Movie on the Mountain!  This is a full evening adventure.  You will enjoy supper and yard games while waiting for the sun to set enough to begin the movie on our 12’X24’ screen.  We will have lawn chairs and blankets for you to snuggle up and watch a show under the big starry Montana sky.

Iron Wheel Guest Ranch is great place to recreate and relax without the noise and bustle of the city. The covered deck has tables and chairs for your relaxation as well.   Our setting has a creek out the window as well as a small pond. In the summer there are horses on the property as well as one friendly Airedoodle named Belle.

If you are looking for a family vacation or just a weekend get-away we can customize a trip to meet your needs. Business meetings, retreats, and reunions at Iron Wheel Guest Ranch can be arranged at any time of the year.

Our facility is the location of the original boarding house for the 19 mile stage coach stop, one of the old barns is still standing. Come enjoy the beauty and relaxation of Montana at Iron Wheel Guest Ranch.
The 6,000 square foot Bed & Breakfast offers 7 guest rooms, 2 rooms have a private bath and 5 rooms share two baths. There are two living rooms for your convenience, each with comfortable seating and family style atmosphere.   For guests who will be staying a while there is a laundry room available.

We would love to have you stay with us.
